I know my comic is famed for the gorgeous background drawings of foggy snow covered snowstorms, but the current comic I am working on demanded something else… and I am SO PROUD I managed to draw these forest scenes from scratch 😭😭😭😭
Fun fact! Idk what this is called, but I, too, tend to blend in the background color into the character to better fit them into the background
This can make the final look to be "inaccurate" to the base color, but still is accurate to how shading/lighting works
