No joke, I actually trained a Luvdisc up to Lv.50 just because I thought it was going to turn into Gorebyss. I felt like I wasted my time after find out it can never evolve. 🤦‍♀️

Small update today, it appears Grotess' pose and concept were reused for Huntail in Gen 3. Similarly, Ikari seems to have split between Gorebyss and Sharpedo (pose and head fin shape went to Gorebyss, small shark head and position of fins went to Sharpedo).

Pokemon are Chinchou, Gorebyss, Huntail, and Lanturn. He has a female Shiny Chinchou named "Twinkles" as a companion Pokemon in his lab.
