Joevember Day 11: Jinx

Scarlett & Lady Jaye, mainstays on the show & Covergirl who would pop up occasionally, but up until the release of GI Joe The Movie that was it for the Lady Joes. The Movie brought us a Jinx, a ninja in all red that kicks your ass and steals your heart.

Joevember Day 9: Roadblock

Truly an artistic soul in the body of a warrior this rhyming gourmet chef is as sweet as can be but has probably murdered at least 50 Cobras. Too bleak for Monday morning?

T.A.R.G.A.T for - an obscure one, but I love anyone with a jet pack.

Joevember Day 8: Quick Kick

It must be tough to be the “Martial Arts” guy on a team that already has Snake Eyes. But Quick Kick balances him. He’s all personality, jokes & zingers. He brings a charm & energy that Snake Eyes can’t. Just another reason we need him.

Joevember Day 7: Snow Job

The Arctic Trooper was a former Olympic biathlete. They call him Snow Job not because he does his job on skis but because “he’s a con artist pure and simple. Except when he picks up a rifle - sure as heck something’s gonna fall down.”

Joevember Day 6: Dusty

I’m torn on Dusty. His action figure with that had flap of cloth was so weird. But on the show he was always portrayed as a good dude. New to the team, eager and able to prove himself and do a great job. But hear me out... HIS HAT IS WEIRD.

So it just shakes out I drew COCO third. Fun day to drop this. Go if you haven’t yet!

I was going to save him for further down the line but someone recommended him for Election Day so here he is with a modified version of his famous fight dialogue from G.I.Joe the movie.

Joevember Day 3: Sgt. Slaughter

Sgt. Slaughter is of course the boot camp instructor in a remote location that whips Joes into shape like no one else.

Joevember, Day 2: Airborne, 1985. I wanted to see if I could do a quick sketch in an hour or less, and this is what I came up with.

Flint was always my favorite. He had all the perks of Duke (brave, smart, field leader) but he was second in command so there was less pressure. I guess that says a lot about me.

Joevember Day 2: Flint

Listed as a Warrant Officer on his file card, Flint took the role of tactical expert and field leader in the cartoon.
