In the early 2000’s I not only got to know the late and legendary Dave Stevens, but also another of my absolute heroes, Michael Kaluta, at a semi-regular pre San Diego Comic Con party hosted by Jim Silke and his wife. I miss Mike, who held court like a mountain king.
