For my cartoonier work, most of the time Im using the default turnip pen from csp tweaked to my liking for line art, markings, shading etc. I have a modified G pen that i lower the hardness on and tweak the pressure of for softer marking edges and shading edges.

Something i haven't mentioned it that Comet and Blitzen have the same markings, but what they resemble depends on if you look at the actual marking or its negative space.

A comet and its trail, or a lighting bolt.

My method and not a be all and end all

- Not shaded (DO NOT) and stand out from BG
- Have a clear view of the character
- Have clear view of markings, if a specific detail to that marking render it separately and flat (see Rigel's sheet)
