so i watched nausicaa of the valley of the wind after seeing this comparison of a scene in the film + neteyam’s funeral on tiktok and i found a lot of other parallels between the two movies i wanted to dissect that could be connected to the plot of a3 and onwards ! (a thread) ✧

i do the same thing with honami and akito. the amount of parallels they have with each other is insane and their personalities would mesh together almost perfectly but more importantly they look like this. aren't they so cute. they should be friends because they are both so cute
i love that my justification for why minori and akito should be best friends ranges from genuine analysis of their parallels and how their very different yet VERY similar personalities would bounce off each other to "idk man they look like this"
also i'm in the comics apparently so like, all the more reason to catch up (note: she is not Actually Literally Me but she's a little beetle who runs a museum and is besties with the lesbians and looks like this. i'm just saying. parallels)

Gotta love how the writers managed to handle the parallels of MJ's and Felicia's relationship with Peter. Making Spider-Man the reason they broke up and at the same time the reason he is with Felicia is always great. MJ wins because she ends up liking both lol
