Peter Thwaites will be part of a 3-artist exhibition at the famous RHS Rosemoor Gardens in Great Torrington from 15th February to 15th March. The emphasis here will be mostly on botanical imagery, including some of his much-acclaimed wild fungi watercolours.

German botanist and entomologist George Dionysius Ehret was born in 1708. He was also a dab hand at illustration, as can be seen in his work of the 1750s 'Plantae and rariores papiliones', a copy of which is housed at the RHS Lindley Library.
