Ya de muy niña a Nicoletta le gustaba pintar pero no recibió formación artística. Es por lo tanto una gran autodidacta que ha bebido de la luz mediterránea y de grandes maestros como Egon Schiele, Klimt, Modigliani y, sobre todo, de la época azul y rosa de Picasso.
