Today is the anniversary of FFVIII's release in the US (9/9/99). It makes me happy that FFXIV (particularly SHB) has helped keep the memory of VIII alive thru the Eden raids but especially by adding the 'Gunbreaker' job. Squall and Seifer's legacy living on in Thancred 😌#ffviii

Before I had even played ShB, I solidified Tohnii's tribe as worshipping a deity of instinct, of carnality, a being not unlock Chaos in Greek mythos who gave life to all. Their name was Pathom, and would eventually be validated by EW's dynamis. Everything came together.

-in shb he is slightly tanner than he was in arr & more noticeably his eyes are lighter, he also had a far more square face in arr, later it seems to be more custom & slimmed (very noticeable around his jaw)
