'In This Space We Breathe' exhibits silkscreen prints made from Khadija Saye's original photos, an early form of photo created by exposing a negative image onto a metal surface coated with emulsion with a dark background so as to appear positive. https://t.co/SpLdFklt2y

Doing a review for an LGBT+ manga called “Silkscreen.”

While it’s tagged as a yuri story by the author’s request (in addition to trans identity and lgbt+), it’s a romance between a lesbian and a genderqueer person, who later comes out as a trans man.

Any thoughts on this?

I’m pleased to bring you another review of an LGBT+ doujinshi! From the author of Mine-kun is asexual, ‘Silkscreen’ is the story of a lesbian reuniting years later with her highschool crush - after he’s transitioned as a trans man. https://t.co/TKSPg8KTM5

Just finished my first read of Silkscreen and I already want to reread it. Isaki Uta’s art style and storytelling pair well together. Their stories tend to feel like a pleasant dream with an undercurrent of loneliness and longing.
