The Symbolist, Gustavo Moreau, illustrated the 17th-century ‘Fables’ of Jean de la Fontaine. Originally, the series had 64 works, however, a large proportion were lost to the Nazis in WW2. An exhibition will be shown , Spring 2021 another missed 😢?
