I really wish the flashback had this shot in it. Just to see how they would approach one of Toriyama's wackiest drawings

It was one of those very detailed machinery kinda pieces. I was looking for this texture, but I had to just go from the image in my head. The closest I came to finding it in Toriyama's art was this image specifically of the fusion vest. And this from some Chrono Trigger ova?

Toriyama's coolest character.

Day 9!

In honor of Piccolo Day, I tried emulating Akira Toriyama's art style for this Yamato, in both the lineart and the coloring style. I based the pose off of Yamcha but the face off of the Androids.

warm up doodle and I finally got to see Your Story and I enjoyed it very much. I think my only real nitpick would be the art style, it looked good maybe a little too HTTYD looken but I cant help but wonder if would have looked good in Toriyama's style

Tbh, I prefer Toyotaro's artstyle over Toriyama's. Not saying its bad, but Toyotaro's artstyle is just better to look at. Toriyama's looks a bit more cartoony and goofy while Toyotaro's looks more anime like and over all just better. Then again that's just my opinion

Idk if it's just me but I find Toriyama's style so much more appealing that Toyotaro's

Well Green is- uh....

All occurrences of Green are from the natural offensive life energy given off by Broly, the main antagonist in Akira Toriyama's hit series Dragonball Z's 8th movie Dragonball Z: Broly - Legendary Super Saiyan (1993)

Most likely another retcon on Toriyama and Toyotaro's part!

I gotta say I really like how they based the big guy on Toriyama's original Galactic Patrolman "Jiya" from when he collaborated with Masakazu Katsura.
