Nolan with a beard makes me wonder how does viltrumites works. Why do they all have a moustache? i thought they didn't grow a beard, but look at him, does that means that every viltrumite is obsessed with moustache? Like they shave everything but the moustache

80% of the fights against Viltrumites on Invincible have more blood and guts that 90% of fights in any random comic.

Every time I see it I have to say it: God I love this splash so much.

Who needs rockets when you have a Viltrumite.

Ooo.
What if Mark had never left Earth? Both in issue and post-Robot-takeover.
If Mark never went in the damn reboot cave?
If Thragg never discovered the Graysons were heirs of Argall?
If Conquest survived the Viltrumite War?
If Mark had lead the Guardians onwards? ⬇️

Just before the Viltrumite War, in Invincible Returns Mark tells Eve that he's scared of the Viltrumite blood running through his veins and what the war will bring out in him. Then, this happens (second image).
Look at the similarities between the dialogue.

This would've been a cool plot point to explore more. And by that I mean, it might've been neat to see more of the Viltrumites actively trying to convert Mark instead of losing patience and siccing Conquest on him 😭

When I say that Viltrumites will eat *anything*...

I know they're just scribbles on the page, by the Viltrum "writing" on the screen looks cool. It'd be fun to make an alien font based off of it.

'Also amused by the giant red "V's" over each captured planet. Maybe their written language isn't that different after all 😂

"I was not made Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire for revenge."

These mustached Viltrumites make me wonder if Edgar Allen Poe was a Viltrumite... every time.

Further evidence that Debbie was integral to Mark's good character and development. She's the U.S. government's first choice to raise another Viltrumite.

Good morning to my favourite ticklish Viltrumites.

Also interesting is that Viltrumites don't seem to weaken or lose muscle mass over prolonged periods without food. Mark was out for months during the Viltrumite War with only water and he was fine.

More of Thragg and Nolan swapping roles:
Also I have no clue what those manacles are made of but it must be gnarly to hold a Viltrumite.

It's adorable because it's Terra but it's heartbreaking because you know she's traumatized by what happened.
On a more cheerful note, gotta love Debbie continuing the tradition of telling Viltrumites to stop flying indoors.

Alien Doctor: I can't treat Viltrumites! They're angry and dangerous.

Mark: LISTEN HERE YOU PASTY PINK QUACK IF YOU DON'T GIVE MY DAUGHTER THE BEST OF CARE IN THE NEXT 8.5 SECONDS WE ARE GOING TO HAVE PROBLEMS. I'M TALKING THE WHOLE PACKAGE: PAT ON THE HEAD, LOLLIPOP-

This is what I mean when I say that Thragg embodies Viltrumite culture itself. Mark k*lling him is emblematic of him k*lling the last remnants of the old ways.

Mark: *complete cinnamon roll of a Viltrumite 90% of the time*
