Did a redesign for a character of mine to make her fit more the cyber-punk, hacker archetype.

Was inspired by my friend and a conversation we had about the fallen hero archetype. Drew my DND character Talos giving his final stand. I liked the idea of his Rage being the only thing keeping him standing so you can see flashes of his other form's hair colors.

To take it even further, character animation does a wonderful job once again of selling archetype. Take Gran for example. Not only does he have a very simple, well rounded kit but his animations are crude & untrained. He's the embodiment of a beginner character in every way.

Alternatively, Micaiah from Radiant Dawn could be someone with strong potential as a rather unexplored mage archetype. Have her moves contain strong, magical hitboxes and disjoints while her limbs are rather weak, but can set up for combos under skilled execution.

She can wield ice magic when using a special fan. She's anti-hero and the 'lone wolf' archetype. That's all I have so far, but I know she is an enemy of Ether.

I always loved the way Baum, in 1900, made Glinda, The Good Witch of the North, a witch who challenged the centuries-old “evil witch” archetype. He was a suffragist, & he made Glinda the Good a brilliant & strong protector over Oz.
