Asymmetry is fun.

I love good asymmetry in character design, but I also can't help but laugh at this redesign for Yang in the new anime project: "Ah, yes, I have gained exactly one pants leg for this winter climate":

Ichthyornis has a peculiar sternum with highly crossed coracoid sulci. Skeletal asymmetry, while uncommon in vertebrates, it is challenging for retrodeformation. However, using our new workflow we were able to reconstruct the complete sternum including the asymmetrical parts 10/n

picking an absolute favorite might be a impossible tbh, but Murmurations by is one of my faves for sure!

delicate and beautiful with a healthy balance of symmetry and asymmetry and a surprisingly wide variety of outputs. here's a few from my collection:

aside from the (ugh) white-on-pale AGAIN, this is a good design! the balance of the asymmetry is a off—the knot and flower need to switch sides if the brace/anklets are gonna be on the same axis. palettes strong tho!

I made some changes in the MARK V ZETA variant, I duplicated the textures to obtain asymmetry in the camouflage pattern, the MARK V B is almost finished, just need to complete things and started with a new coating and visor style.

The new Minnie Mouse design irks me. It's not because it's a pants suit, I think it's the over abundance of polka-dots and then the asymmetry of the bow. To me it feels like, do you want circles or lines? Both (in this case) don't go well together - unprofessional opinion.

Character design development. I actually like the silhouette of the first, very owl-reminiscent. But the asymmetry of the second is something I prefer.
