Acht was designed in a way to appear intimidating but actually looks cute.
Also, the lines on Acht's head actually spell out the Japanese name which is 'Mizuta' (ミズタ) where 'Mizu' (ミズ) is on the left side of the head and 'Ta' (タ) on the right side.
