I admire those with remarkable artistic talent not because they have the ability to earn a lot of money, but because they see the same world as I do yet express it in a unique way that is different from mine.

They create their own world, and I learn their language.

Here's something I wish I was able to learn sooner; I think many starter anime-style artists begin by colouring shadows like on the left. Try change it up by starting with darker values and painting in direct lighting, and you'll find it becomes much simpler to render!

The original idea was the the first world would be city like and that every world would have a "bar" level, where you can rest and talk to npcs to learn about this world's situation , as there is no mario and no bowser either. I want to have little images when clearing levels too

This piece came a long way. I completely changed the characters along the way and added other ideas too. But by experimenting and spending a crazy amount of time on it I learned a lot, so it was worth it. All of it will be in the process video on Patreon in a few days!
