During lockdown artist Jo Smith found sanctuary in spending time outdoors, in particular, enjoying late night walks which inspired a series of night paintings. 🌌✨
Jo says 'Reacting to fast and dramatic changes in light fills me with such joy.'

Oh, I should clarify. I'm taking a vacation from work, but I'm not going on a hiatus from Twitter or anything.
I will be spending more time for myself throughout the day though. Gonna spend more time outdoors, housecleaning, and learning to draw.
It's gonna be great!
@KateKa22 Here's my bowl🐠 The cow represents my favorite animal, the tent and forest represent my love for outdoors, the roses represent my fashionista side & my "proper" trait, & lastly the books underwater represent this months mermaid fountain story I made, since it was my favorite!
Happy Summer Solstice! A perfect time to get outdoors, make flower crowns, brew potions, turn people into pigs, terrify sailors, and become known as a 'dreadful goddess with lovely hair'.

I’ve always wondered what Fawful is wearing underneath his cloak in Superstar Saga since we never actually get to see. All we know for sure is that his hands and feet are both bare. (DO YOUR FEET NOT HURT OUTDOORS, FAWFUL?)
Is that little Erin Alladin @MakeDoMaverick I see in that tree? I'll bet her own outdoor experiences were the inspiration for OUTSIDE, YOU NOTICE, #picturebook re #mindfulness of the #outdoors, wherever that is. Illus by @andreablinick. From @PajamaPress1 https://t.co/Z4khxCUuqR
As a conservationist and lover of the outdoors, the art of @ShowdeerArt just calls to me (again and again 🤭)...
It whisks you away, back to nature when you can’t physically be there...
And this is why I simply had to add another piece to my collection: “Tree Lantern” 🌲❤️🤗
The first transcontinental railroad was completed #OTD, May 10, 1869. Illustrations from Locomotive, photo from 150th anniversary commemorations at Promontory Summit two years ago. (Two years, but it feels like more; there was travel, there were crowds! We were outdoors, though.)
It's a lovely 🌞 day! Get out and enjoy the #outdoors, wandering #lonely as a cloud (or with up to 5 other people, or 2 households, whichever is the greater 😏)

It's spring, and Abby seems to have spring fever! Here she is, in the beautiful outdoors, soaking up the sun in her plaid summer dress. She even busted out her matching sandals! Abby loves the warm weather, and she is very happy to get some fresh air and warm sun.

#painterofthenightseason2 Someone asked why I wrote: BNK's suffered for 1,5 year and YSH = a decade. BNK's tragedy began with his exile from the kisaeng house. He had to sleep outdoors, got beaten and sent away at the end. He lived as a drunk😭Then he spent ca 6 months with YSH.
