Mona Prang is from 2 things, the Mona Lisa & Prang the water color brand. Mona Lisa because I found out back then, watercolors was used as a preparatory art or part-sketch, if not an actual art piece. Prang is because that's the watercolor brand that I use when doing that medium.

@Slumberyote This is my sona Breakfast! She kinda sprang from my head fully formed, but I appreciate she’s more of a future idealized and realized version of who I am now. Something to hope for in a way! Still clumsy tho 😅
(Ref is by @pastasaurusrexx !, other art by me 💖)

She sprang at me from hiding, shoved this art in my face, hugged me and then disappeared in a cloud of flowers......

Time stands over the skeletal form of Death in this engraving by Aegidius II Sadeler. Bartholomeus Spranger has been spared but death has claimed his wife Christina. A putto reveals a skull. 1600 (On display in the free Printmaking in Prague exhibition at @britishmuseum)
2/2 Another timely allegory by Bartholomeus Spranger, at the end of his day.
