I didn’t grow up with a PS1, but Spyro was a series that always interested me, especially after playing the first game for awhile at a cousin’s house. This collection was a good excuse to finally try them.

Following up the games tonight I just finished up Harmful Park on the PS1, a gorgeous, cute, and well designed shoot em' up. No wonder it fetches a crazy price on the secondhand market. Sadly Sky Think Systems only produced a few games in their lifetime and no other shooters.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together turns 25 today, it originally released on this date in 1995 for the Super Famicom. The 2nd entry in the Ogre Battle series with a branching story and multiple endings. It would later release on Saturn, PS1, and finally PSP over a decade later.

Spyro was one of the first games I owned on PS1, I played it religiously as a child. The reignited trilogy is one of the most faithful remasters - 40 hours of pure nostalgia overload.

Crash has been a big part of my life and I often forget just how important it is to me.
First played Crash Bash on PS1, used to play it over and over from the start with my brother trying to beat Adventure mode because we didn't have a memory card.
