Exactly what he needed. 😂 I felt like doing that too & I like Denji. 💀

Though she feels manipulative & calculative at most times, her happiness while benefitting & mild dejection while not benefitting feel genuine. At those points her initial reactions before composure, feel involuntary. Maybe she's just that good..

Being this trusting of Devils & the opinions of conflicted children is too simple minded.. Which Denji is kind of. Poochita was clearly a very rare case; being almost lethally injured etc.

This is probably what I'm most excited to get from future parts of Chainsaw Man. A hand full of them are likely still on earth & laying low etc.

Chapter 2 cover page coincidentally looked similar to one of my country flags lol. 🇧🇩
I wonder what the thought behind the original color/design choice was.

Oh yeah imo this is definitely chapter 1 foreshadowing of Denji's ability to freely use his chains detached from their fixings later. It's literally what Poochita is doing. 👏🏽

Ch1 already has me thinking why a chainsaw devil looks/feels less intimidating than a damn tomato devil..
Potentially Poochita could just be a piece of the Chainsaw Devil, of a more prominent devil; or more likely, the chainsaw devil's actual heart.

This injury is my biggest question so far..
Also for now I presume Poochita was there looking for a newly buried corpse to drink blood from.. Which is already pretty crazy as it assumes Poochita maybe acted to spare human life at the cost of itself.

All the unluckiness of his entire life balanced out in that moment where he uttered the only words which could've saved him. Also allowing him the time to form a real bond with Poochita. That contract probably needed 2 way acknowledgement prior. 👏🏽

They're calling our boy dumb but that was pretty smart if you ask me. Knowing how to manipulate his surroundings to his advantage & keeping such detailed recollection of finances are both commendable. They also confirm his Dad put him in this mess.

4 pages & Denji is already one of the most & least relatable MCs I've ever read simultaneously lmao. Fujimoto doing Fujimoto things. Presenting real people in an unreal world & presenting shocking events in a mundane manner to set the precedent. 😨
