I heard this week was so for I've decided to share the latest versions of my ankylosaur-based fossil These Rock/Electric-types also take a few cues from the Sumerian storm god Ishkur, who is portrayed with bull horns and a mace! 🪨⚡️

Ancient Sumeria wip. Even now the memories of them is still buried deep within the subconscious of man and beast alike. An unknowable enemy, so divorced from our understanding that it is pointless to speculate.

Teth’s temple is also heavily based on Sumerian temples! (With also a mix of ancient Myanmar, hence the spire right on top)

The major hero in ancient Mesopotamian mythology and the protagonist of the Epic of Gilgamesh, an epic poem written in Akkadian during the late 2nd millennium BC. He was likely a historical king of the Sumerian city-state of Uruk, who was posthumously deified.

Gugalanna, the Bull of Heaven, was an ancient Sumerian god who could change into a fearsome bull. He was sent by the gods to kill Gilgamesh for rejecting the advances of Inanna-the queen of heaven. He was, unfortunately, slain by the hero.
