Amanda, my heroine, is here!! #TheValeofWales Chapter 1 Page 10
This was the moment I looked at my comic, & thought, 'man, this is silly, even for me,' not that I'm complaining ;3 #TheValeofWales Chapter 1, Page 4
We can't wait to watch the aftermath of our cross over episode with Orkira from Heroes of the Vale! Watch Live now on https://t.co/jj2cez8IgC! @DnDBeyond #dnd #d4dnd #ttrpg #HeroesoftheVale Art by Marquis Chancey
On a lighter note, here's Page 5 of #TheValeofWales. Almost done with my prologue, & am nervous about what's to come!😲😳
Design update: In keeping with Welsh/Celtic mythology, Vera is now a Ceffyl Dŵr (shapeshfting water horse), Amanda's Trinity Knot now has the weave circle, and Frieda is now a Grwagged Annwn, which is a lake fairy #TheValeofWales
@Floofy_art Just a few of mine for a Welsh mythological web comic I'm working out the story on, called #TheValeofWales.
I’ve not found instances of a leader among the Welsh Gwyllion (mountain fairies). I think it makes sense for #TheValeofWales to give each subspecies of fairy a Chief. There's a legend of a gwyll called the Old Woman of the Mountain, & her being my Chieftess sounds appealing.
Beloved of the fairy King Gwyn Ap Nudd, Queen Creiddylad is often described both in mythology and in my story, #TheValeofWales, as the most beautiful woman in the British Isles. To see the May Queen is to love her, for her eyes enchant all who see them.
In Welsh mythology, Gwyn Ap Nudd's the war torn king of the fairies. In #TheValeofWales, he's 1 of at least 4 rulers that govern them together. He's joined by his wife Creiddylad, The Lady of the Lake (who leads lake fairies like Vera), and Queen Mab of the Ellyllon.
If Sal is the funny man, Lily is the cinnamon roll, and Amanda is their window to the Human World, Vera is definitely the big sister of #TheValeofWales squad. A big sister type who will keep your secrets and fight with you until the end.
I've made up my mind over what subject I want to paint for this year's Texas State Fair entry. #TheValeofWales
A #HappyMothersDay pic, featuring my Welsh elf, Frieda, when she was little, and her mother figure, Agnes, the mountain fairy. Both are from my Welsh story, #TheValeofWales
I feel alot better today, so have a mermaid version of my heroine OC, Amanda, for my Welsh mythological story, #TheValeofWales
Last time I drew the #TheValeofWales squad together, it was with an old pen, & it came out weird. Here are my updated protags 💛🖤💚💜
Redesigns of some #TheValeofWales ladies. From left to right, Lily the puca (some of my research says that pucas have yellow eyes & have had white or silver hair), Aerona the Morgen (Welsh mermaid, knife under her miniskirt & all), & Frieda, a bright haired ellyl (Welsh elf).
This is one of a few reasons why I'm not ready to push #TheValeofWales to the side yet. This is Aloysius Dragone, and he demands to be seen, feared, and be entertained by us. Dance, peasants, dance!
Last night, I explained how accommodating, yet ruthlessly greedy my villain from #TheValeofWales is, to a friend of mine. Aloysius Dragone'll look after you & keep his promises, but he'll demand loyalty. Then, he simply asked 'so he's like an evil Santa Claus?' & I burst laughing
