Pitlochry's famous fish ladder is made up of 34 tiered pools and helps salmon safely over the dam on their journey upstream and back again. This particular ladder has been crossed by over 250,000 salmon since it was built in 1952!

This lil guy doesn't talk very much, so all the other Dwagonflies just call them Bear. They certainly seem to have an affinity for them! They enjoy fluttering about near the rivers as salmon swim upstream to do a little bear watching. 🐻

Rivers can carry things over large distances. If there was a large battle upriver, you might see it run read for a few miles. Anyone that sees this might try and go upstream to try to help anyone who might have survived.
