Since Vyse's design is less complicated than Shulk's, I decided to try a more dynamic pose. Also I think I'll probably stick with black outlines from now on because I feel like they make the image pop more and they're less work. Process:

The Sky Train discovery bears a resemblance to the train from a manga series called Galaxy Express 999. Of note is the manga takes place in the same universe of the manga Arcadia of my Youth, whose main character, Captain Harlock, inspired the design for Vyse.
