Hey A bit late to the party, but I'm shadowhood and I draw a webcomic called SunnyxRain!
And how can characters die when they're just university students writing fanfiction, right?

A variation on a theme, I want to say - somethijg that feels true to the character in how they would pick a costume - even if they’d NEVER pick a costume. Here’s one I did for Christmas that sorta illustrates this principle.

Happy Halloween ! INTO THE MIDNIGHT CITY is a webcomic about trans-masc vampires, mystery solving, finding your destiny, and *definitely* not being in love with your fellow mystery solver! 🎃🏳️‍🌈

Q5: In my comic “Into The Midnight City, most monsters range from chill vampires, to kindly werewolves and everyday monsterfolk on the bus, to shapeshifting fae pulling trickery! there’s a few more I can’t show for spoilers 👀

I use photos for reference, although there are colors/ features that look good in real life but not so much in comics (Like outlining teeth for example) I like taking a color skin sample from a photo, apply it to a comic character and then I just adjust levels

I used to. I don't anymore - the effects aren't the same, expectantly. Blush doesn't hit the same, nor does shading - variations in general play differently. Its the same with photography. They're similar - but there's differences for sure.
