In Christmas, my niece was using my iPad and we watched the episodes of Jane and the dragon. It’s one show I really loved when I was yourger, still do for the storytelling pace but not a fan of the motion capture models. Made a little experiment and redesign them for 2D. 🐉

Re-applying multires and re-sculpting without dyntopo to get rid of the bumps. Still nowhere near how I want it but don't think I can actually get any cleaner lines 😥
I guess that's why I stick to 2D.

First art piece of the year! I fell in love with 's Batman concept he painted and asked if I could sculpt it. Here's the result! Batman and the building he's standing on are 3D, the rest is 2D. All handpainted, unlit textures. More images up on my ArtStation soon!

Been blocking stuff out in 3D these days. Fun to move cameras and lights around. Blender's Grease Pencil is a bridge over to 2D. Photoshop then for all the actual painting work.
