Some things I really wanted to do in this comic: I remembered in the 90s complaining w friends that a male superhero would never bridal carry a guy. I’d always yearned to see it & I thought of it as an ultimate queering of a gendered trope esp if I had a guy bridal carry Superman

@W_S_Walcott He started out as Spaz McDragon. He was supposed to be a parody of Sonic/Edgy 90s animal mascots for game mascot ensemble. Then, a couple years later, I thought, "has Jump the Shark been taken?" I did some googling, and holy shit, nobody beat me to "Jump the Shark."
