This piece ignited a change for me, not only for my drawing ability, but for me as a person. The blood splatter represents a overcoming of all the challenges of my past. Also those wings were just a hell of a lot of fun to draw. Another piece from late 2021.

Well there’s no “right way” to art, but for me, I always have a base sketch, generally I crank out 4-5 sketches when I have ideas and then I’ll kinda go through and decide which one I want to draw. The quick sketch is mostly to get the pose and the general shape of what I do next
