One thing that I just assumed was a blatant fact but realised that it wasn't confirmed in the story is that Kaido had a member of the 5 daimyo "Moon" clans bear his child Yamato. Yamato was born 1-2 years after Kaido landed on Wano, he never intended Orochi to stay shogun
