One of my works from earlier this year when I first started dipping into painting. I wanted to practice skin, water, and sky. Looking back its a bit rough around the edges, but that's what's needed for first steps. I would tone down the muscle if I did it now. #art #digitalart
not to mention theres a lack of harder edges that fenyos works contain when drawing UI, and that is notable here.
The last feature — ‘Perimiter’ — describes how the entities relate to the edges. The ‘Contained’ type keeps them confined, while the ‘Overflow’ type allows them to flow freely passed the edges.

Love the art style in this rendition! Great job contrasting the soft contours of the kimono with the more defined edges of the Azuki herself, which in turn helped guide the viewer’s focus to the Azuki. (Also love how the cat’s focus on the earring)

This was a very cool rendition of my Azuki—and I would say the design is spot-on for a pixelated PFP! My favorite aspects of this piece included how smoothly the color gradients were established and the curved edges despite the pixelated nature of the work.

Such a fantastic read, for me the book felt a little rough at the edges and I felt the conversation sometimes grated but this was truly some of the best world building I've ever read in a book. Really incredible plot on top of that. Loved it, 8.5/10

Ever area is filled, every shape has a highlight, hard shadows, and hatched edges are softened and cancelled with gradients.
It's like the colorists are trying to transmorgify a flat drawing into 3d.
It doesn't work and it's visually repulsive.
The best examples of Watterson's restraint with color were his snow settings. He used the white of the page and only hinted at color on the edges to create expansive winter landscapes that seemed to extend beyond the boundaries of the page.
@margawart This is my most recent of daggerededges demon hunter character. I was testing out some new things, and really REALLY enjoyed the line work on this piece and the glowing effects I worked on.
Did some experimenting art, cause I have all those cool texture brushes I've downloaded but NEVER USE!!!🤦♀️WHY did I not use watercolour brushes sooner?? Also watched a youtube video about doing different styles of edges-hard and soft edges- and I think I really like it♥ #nuriART
