Famicom Detective Club is coming out tomorrow. After finding out the music from the original game is featured in Rhythm Heaven Fever's "Police Call" I wanted to base the drawing from my poster off the old cover art. https://t.co/4zCH1aQygD

I liked the artstyle in this one, and the hydra robot boss looked pretty cool. Visually, this is a great NES game.

But it's a shooter. You know what you're in for for the next 5 hours.

A space shooter!

...

I better think of more creative things to say, I think I'm in for at least 400 more of these.

I'm starting to think hashtag-ing the last word of a sentence is like when they say the hero's name at the beginning of episodes of Maybe I should stop.

About time a Nintendo character was part of the plugsuit series, but I can't just feature popular ones. This time Chao from Yuyuki, a Famicom game. Known for making cameos outside Japan in Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Smash Ultimate.

Finding info on this one was tough, but the game really makes you look like the bad guy in this scrolling shooter. People running away, houses exploding, etc.

On February 21st, 1986, Japan was introduced to the Famicom Disk System and the world was introduced to the series.

Seriously though, why isn't there an official remake of this game? It needs updating FAST.

A few things to mention here: This is the first movie-licensed game, but it wasn't released in America despite being an America film.

It also released the same day as a certain something else... but I'll get to that next time.

From what I hear, this is based off This thing apparently inspired most of the amine out there today like Dragon Ball. I should probably try reading it.

I forgot to mention this at the time, but the first few American NES consoles released a few days after game 68-Challenger. However, a nation-wide release doesn't happen until later.

This game got a sequel in 2017. It's pretty good, all things considered.

Let this one be proof that despite having to draw so many games, I still make room for Easter Eggs.

comes back with a pretty good puzzle game... published by somebody else. Tokuma Shoten's second published title.

Games as simple as this make the drawings very straightforward but a bit boring to draw.
