Okay fine I'll post here too. I'm taking commissions again! Now with the option of a /fancy/ messy paint, and a new YCH offering because I wanted to rabidly paint foliage the other night.

Link's in my pinned tweet!

We couldn't not select artworks by renowned Victorian artist & botanical painter. Lachenalias and Butterflies, South Africa (1882) and Foliage and Fruit of the Akee, Jamaica (1872) are both from Marianne North Gallery.

Happy Neptunalia - This two day Festival commenced on 23rd July in honour of Neptune as God of the waters. People would build huts out of branches and foliage, in the shade of which they picnicked, drank spring water and wine to keep cool and camped out overnight

My pre-pandemic, younger, actually-rested arrived, and it’s making me smile.

Also smiling that a part of the cost is going to support and some cool independent artists!

(I said I love the ocean, hence the tropical foliage!)

10 - Caterpie
Type: Bug

It crawls into foliage where it camouflages itself among leaves that are the same color as its body.

The rustling of leaves and warm sunlight glittering through the foliage... you could stay here forever.

Finished YCH for Chris the gryphon! (who isn't on twitter that I'm aware of) Such an adorable character, very fun to draw! 💕✨

July’55 The expression foliage plants carries something of a Victorian sound, like the echoing of a gong through a linoleumed, lincrustaed boarding-house, but in spite of this grim association some of the foliage plants hold a high decorative value in the garden.

I think I gotta focusing my efforts towards capturing proportions accurately because I've been way too lackadaisical about it, and I gotta figure out a good way to portray foliage (it would probably help to use higher reolution photo references tho)

Hi. I hope these cheer you up at least a little bit.

My latest completed digital illustration with a minimal bg — a photo I took of the local Tahoe foliage.

And my fave digital work from about 10 or so years back.☺️
