The amount of ore in Basarios's shell makes it closer to a rock than a shell. The shell can be used to refine metals. The shelling on its torso is relatively thin and easy to manipulate. The wings are a very hard material to work with.

the sonic and mario ones were the first two i attempted. i'd been wanting to put himbo in the sa1 pose forever, but i had trouble (and still did with this) conforming him to the pose while compensating for his lack of torso. i was v back and forth on the mono-eye
