Happy my magical lovelies. Hope you all are having a wicked and wild day. I have added a new article to the Foyer on Into the Dark about Yule for all who might be interested or curious. For all who live on the East Coast like me, stay safe tonight and tomorrow.

🌟 Blessed Yule 🌟
This Winter Solstice is a “Great Conjunction”, the closest Saturn and Jupiter have been in 400 years! And also the peak of the Ursid Meteor Shower!

The Yule Lads are here & there are more to come: Sheep-Cote Clod, Gully Gawk and Stubby have all made their visits. And be sure to keep your spoons secure from Spoonlicker. Who.... does what it says on the tin really.

festive hypno - dark/ground. it spends most of the year in tunnels underground, but emerges in the holiday season and preys on the dreams of people. it can only be kept away by a burning yule log. (based off the greek myth of the kallikantzaroi!)

Good evening my terrifying dearies. My hands are killing me today from Occupational Therapy. I'll probably be back on sometime tomorrow. Till then, I hope you all stay safe and are well. I'm working on adding information about Yule to the Foyer on Into the Dark. Much love to you.

In celebration of the upcoming winter solstice here is The Yule Goat by John Bauer. In later Scandinavian traditions the yule goat became a giver of presents. Does anyone know if this still happens?
