Another quality arcade conversion from Bad Dudes or Dragon Ninja, played like a Shinobi game, good fun.

My top five are all C64. Which makes sense, as it was the model of computer I had for the longest time, by far. 🤓
• Bruce Lee 🥷
• Park Patrol 🏞️
• Dino Eggs 🦖
• High Noon 🤠
• HERO 🚁

Obviously the C64 version was never going to look as good at the Amiga/ST versions. But, all things considered, it was a pretty good looking game..

Now, as much as I love the Amiga, this is a game where it has to be admitted that the Atari ST version is the better version. The Amiga one was rushed. The ST version was just more complete. (Though, generally, I still love to go back to the C64 version, with its SID music.) 😄

The timing on the C64 version is really unforgiving.
Last year I tried out the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad versions and, though I'm team-C64 all the way, in this case the Amstrad version is so so much more playable. It feels like they finessed the controls and got them right. 👍

Remembering how to work with multi-color text mode in here's some 2x2 tile blocks :D

Today's awesome game in the C64s trademark brown, it brought to you by the letters T, R and the number 2. Coz it's a sequel, to the home ports, not the arcade game, which didn't have this. 🤔 Which is odd, coz this is so damned hard, it would make players chew through credits. 😋

I think I'd have to go with Monstro Giganto (https://t.co/GSlgGZbf99), if only because I really, truly feel that, had it been released "back in the day", that it would have changed videogame history as we know it, and I'm not sure many other recent c64 games fit that bill?

It's free on Aminet (game/2play), and even includes landscapes with no brown at all. (weird) 😋 It really did a good job of bringing across the feel of the original C64 games, while adding all these funky multiplayer brawls with ridiculous blood-splatter options. Nice. 😎

In ep35, an episode so stuffed not even Man Vs Food could handle it, Zapped to the Past also looked at Equinox, 2-on-2 Basketball, Hoodoo Voodoo & Spiky Harold. Bring on the chuck bucket!

Enjoyed driving around in Breakthru, although the forced scrolling could catch you out on big jumps which was annoying, overall it's a good game

Vendetta is a good game on 8-bit good arcade conversion, had scrolling beatem up section and then a driving section, good challenge, well worth a look
