I spend like 900 hours brainstorming and experimenting because I'm trying to figure out how to preserve a character's aesthetic as I make their color palette. Between deciding what colors go where and recreating the graphics from scratch there's a lot that went into this one.
@JLongbox @DailyMutantsX "Legacy characters lack originality." Really? I shouldn't have to explain to you how these legacy character's reinvented their mantle with their unique stories they brought to the table. Their respective fandoms were rejuvenated with a breath of fresh air.

@LupusReiko @ComicsByXan Well, SNK did remember and brought back Iori Yagami's Miss X persona for SNK Heroines, and that's not the only thing Iori's been clearly closeted about for years... not sure if they'll ever take the leap, but the character's name was already androgynous anyway...
So, given what I highlighted in this thread, without having to mention all the character's feats or belittle other kunoichis, I believe it's clear why Sakura became the strongest kunoichi in the work.
