It's their mistakes. Steven Universe has so many characters who are developed to be just as flawed as they are endearing. personality in their respective segments. However, my one main critique of this movie is how underwhelming certain plot points were explored or developed, especially with the mom's backstory, their biological dad, and Uesugi's familiy situation
