Two warrior cat design requests :]]]

Redwillow and Hawkwing !!
I tried to experiment w/ exaggerated shapes and it's actually really fun so I'm gonna try to keep at that!!

A couple of UltimateSkar alts, I tried to exaggerate his eyebrows with the later versions. His bulky frame tells you that he can kick a**, whereas his angry expression and exaggerated eyebrows tells you that he's ready to do just that.

Here's a piece I made recently where I exaggerated this effect. Reference photo for comparison. I'm still learning this stuff~ ^^

I think the angles may be too exaggerated but it's a learning process.

One thing I find most useful is to find the most exaggerated poses you can. For me I rewatched cybersix (hence why I was thinking about it yesterday) and screencapped a bunch. It’s easier to learn line of action with exaggerated poses.

Here are some as an example

More of this! i'm still fiddling with it, i think the proportions are more normal here, so i'm not sure if i should go back to more exaggerated/toony :3c

An exercise between drawing from reference (left) (somewhat more realistic) and drawing from imagination (right) (a bit exaggerated). Mama and child on their way, wearing masks.

// this may just be me, but i love how porco isn't like,, this stereotypically buff character, i guess? his proportions aren't exaggerated; his cheeks are a bit squishy (sometimes round too), his shoulders are broad, and his arms are kinda chubby!! it makes me feel very validated

Slightly Exaggerated will be live on Kickstarter until March 10th. Would love to do some more interviews to chat about the comics, if anyone has a podcast or knows some good ones!

May slow down on the constant posts, here's some of the silly things I've been working on.

Nora with holding brooms, with Nora's exaggerated pose.

Vega encountering Vex in her "Vicky" disguise.

Might finalize so keep an eye out.
