Characters can be portrayed however you want them to be. It's up to people to know if they like that or not, and I personally don't mind it, as long as you can still "feel" the essence of the character.

Positively Yours has that kind of plot that is somehow common, but still has its own flavor. I love how it somehow portrayed the life of an irl married couple— that relationships arent perfect. Hee-won & Doojoon have their own flaws, & that's what made me fall in love with them.
