I think i'll go (mostly) chibi and go easy on the shading. I can't draw much, and when i focus i get a bit dizzy lol. Stomach do be a second brain.

Since I don't use outlines, I start shading right after some rough color blocking, and proceed from there to define shapes. The left side shows how basic my colors actually are if there is no shading.
