This piece ignited a change for me, not only for my drawing ability, but for me as a person. The blood splatter represents a overcoming of all the challenges of my past. Also those wings were just a hell of a lot of fun to draw. Another piece from late 2021.

Well there’s no “right way” to art, but for me, I always have a base sketch, generally I crank out 4-5 sketches when I have ideas and then I’ll kinda go through and decide which one I want to draw. The quick sketch is mostly to get the pose and the general shape of what I do next

There was a low rumble, less than a snarl, but he must have heard something, because he started to turn just as the wolf made its leap. They went down together. The wolf had him under the jaw. The man shrieked before the beast wrenched back its head, taking out half his throat.
