I have this funny habit of designing a character first then fleshing out their backstory. But I think I came up with a decently fun concept. I’ve always loved French Mustketeers, they actually were still around in the 18th century (first disbanded in 1776). But what if there was-

Like, uh, literally right there? But maybe she means it a bit ironically, like the unsaid part is "As far as he knows, we're still the Outsiders." And we'll see what she really meant.
