Spotted some crocuses in the wild so so here’s some lovely illustrations! Saffron (from crocus sativus) historically used to treat ailments such as gout & asthma, and believed to be an aphrodisiac. This 19thc medical text also claims it brings “ecstatic drunkenness”

I wanted to give a BIG compliment for her art AND coloring of Saffron!
It's an absolute joy to look at the pages, and I noticed that nothing in the whole comic is just 1 flat color.
It's all mixed and highlighted. It's gorgeous!
