If i'm completely honest i got pretty sad while working on restoring these textures.
I have so much respect for anybody who worked on Tomba and Tomba 2, so much love and effort went in both games.

Had a lot of fun with this one. I took the time to dive deeper into rendering with all its fancy techniques. I experimented a lot with different light setups, subsurface scattering and textures. I am happy with the result. 😊

I wanted to practice hair textures. After a bunch of research I can say with certainty that maybe these are somewhat correct representations of each hair type. Possibly.

After putting in a few hours these past couple of days, I finally finished the hair! Though the back of the hair could use some work, same as the messy hair tufts, but I'm happy with it for the most part!

Now... time to mess with textures...
