Watercolour "Parrog Midday Sun" approx 14" by 8". I painted an awful lot of failed versions of this painting...but I persevered because I just liked the composition

Acrylic on panel I've been playing around w/ carving the surface, not that I've done much here yet. I like the atmospheric watery thing happening & the hard edge too. I need more from this painting... not sure what direction I'll take w/this, tho.

WIP. Something I'm working on for Kirby's anniversary.

Despite Kirby being only a few colours, I tend to go overboard when painting.. I Just gotta try to add as many colours as possible ❤️💛💚💙💜

is hard because I DID keep my DeviantArt & I have SO MUCH old art I could choose, like how far back should I go?? I'll spare you my 2003 Neopets art.

2012 - started drawing superheroes
2014 - started painting superheroes
2019 - .....still... painting... superheroes

If i love Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, it is for the scenario of course. ✨
For this illustration i've got back the classical old round brush. It's been years i didn't use it but i like the feeling x3 Sorry fancy textured brushes, you're not for me when it comes to painting...

Okay...seems a lot of my results are down to taste 😂 okay so what about with a background? Does that change anything? Black lines is more cartoony classic pokemon, i quite like no lines in this version it's a bit like a painting..i don't know what i think of in between yet 😅
