I watched Ponyo and Arrietty today.
I gotta say, these are great movies. Their plots are nice, but what really captures it is the detailed visuals that are presented in these films. Both are beautiful and I recommend watching them.

Just like Sergeant, the comedy is offset by a set of romantic subplots including patient Terence Longdon & nurse Shirley Eaton. It also allows Kenneth Williams to be involved in a love story with Jill Ireland - something that never really crops up in the series again

Another Italian show that is way too often compared to Winx. But tbh I always like to say Winx lacks what W.I.T.C.H. has and visa versa. This show has also an amazing comic series, and although the plots are vastly different, both are very enjoyable!

Like not trying to hate or anything but it's absolutely something I've noticed. The only two I've run into that actually stood out are Digimon (I didn't realize counted as one) and Youjo Senki. The rest I've seen are either fantasy or sci-fi with extremely similar plots and art

Alpha Flight! The team had a very interesting dynamic. A government drawn together group that acted more like a family most of the time. Solo adventures and relationships that slowly built to a larger more cohesive challenge. Great visuals & characters, complex plots, and drama!
