@gurugurugravity @LostBlueJay Defining the nose and lips is one thing, but for me the main thing is matching diff shapes of the lips and noses to eyes to match (since I draw eyes first) as well as matching it to the head shape, while playing around with different shapes to keep things not being samey
Fast-forward about 50 episodes and a year later on #196 we have something much closer to what he would eventually settle on. Effects show more of a commitment to the zig-zag shape, meanwhile the timing especially on the last two cuts is very familiar.
@SurfWilde 1/2 I know it looks like that ''how to draw an owl'' meme but i just started with the shape on the right which i made by sculpting a rough foot shape, inflating then polishing and zremeshing down.
this shows us a couple of interesting things that were previously obscured--sea fairy's full body shape, and a clearer look at pirate's wanted poster! interesting 🔍 #cookierun https://t.co/WPrLP8THXX
Joey wanted to create his own Fantasia type cartoon, so he created Pandy the Faun. He plays the flute and loves nature. When he gets a little bent out of shape, he becomes the Ink Faun. He uses his flute to control the Searchers. #Bendy_and_the_ink_machine #bendyOC
Illustrator help?! If I have stroke dissecting a shape like below, and I use the shape builder tool to remove a section of the below shape, the direction of the stroke always reverses. Any idea why?? So annoying to always have to amend @illustrator @astutegraphics @tonyharmer
i tried #truffledtiys500 from @everyotherlies! i changed the hat into a mushroom shape, i hope you dont mind tiff 😂
Something i did to put more practice on the eyes shape,you know i never tried to make eye too masculine,i wanna improve the lineart so i wish i could get a new tablet soon~
@TacticalFriedRi Regarding the jacket piece, the lines around the left bottom of the sleeve share a shape, but the rest of the lines don't line up either. I can see the pose is v similar. Maybe Maru should have posted the reference alongside the drawing to give credit to it? Maybe, I dunno myself
@ottomarr_art Thank you for doing this :3 Forte still works hard to stay in shape, even with the heat.
Shes very lethargic outside of that.
First attempt at a new Chibi style! Funny enough, this originated as a trial for more realistic proportions. Then came the cute head shape, so I rolled with it.

2019 vs. 2020
More of a face shape, better eyes... more confident lips. While the right is just a sketch, you can see the difference already :D
@RHArtistSupport Alot actually.
I was 10-9 at the time and i'm 13 now
I've gotten better at backgrounds, anatomy, shape, poses and a lot more. Honestly proud of myself.
“Adherent” acrylic on Dibond, 50 x 60 cm, July 2020
I was initially very unhappy with the first few layers of this painting. The colors got greenish and muddy and I didn’t see any obvious way to improve it. Then I tried to add a clean shape, which didn’t… https://t.co/oGdRNoE49C
