When I was getting close to what I thought) was the start of my comic, I ended up doing a lot of test work. I wanted to feel out my style and workflow, along with practice using values. My comic is mostly greyscale so I needed to figure things out. (1/5)

I'm quite happy with how the dirt texture turned out. I tried making a grass texture with the same workflow, but ended up trashing it and going with an old one (I can't seem to make one to beat it).

My first rough doodle is just embarrassing... I think with my over paint mentality, I put very little effort in at the start because it will all change anyway. I'm thinking my workflow is so slow because my starting foundation is so poor....

Due to my sickness my workflow is slow and I won’t be able to open commission this month.
Apologize to everyone, my main priority is to finish my current queue.

Huge thanks to my amazing patient customers ❤️
Hope you guys are having great weekend and please stay safe <3

Random rendering stuff
I've been mad uncomfortable with my tools and workflow in general. Idk If im doing the right things or if the way I work is detrimental to myself. But Im not discouraged by that. One day I will find someway to lean onto so I can focus on my fundamentals

No graphics version so you can enjoy the night sky! Tried to capture the magic of the story's final scene & I'm very satisfied with how it turned out.

I also picked up some new tricks while doing this. I think it improves both my work & workflow greatly.

First piece I’ve done from sketch to finish in Procreate. Was a big adjustment from my normal workflow but really enjoyed the experience!

Couple of pieces for - these are really helping me speed up my colouring, inking and workflow which is going to help with commission work. I've decided to alternate AF and commission days this month to get me back into the proper swing of art again
