I haven't posted much lately because anime seems to get the best traction and I just couldn't stomach using NovelAI but! has updated with an anime model that still needs some training and doesn't appear to be as egregious.

Ik. Thats what my tip was for, learn how to draw kirby in a smoother artstyle with more flat coloring then move up to that :)
As the twitter art is pretty much going the same direction but with thicker outlines and more shine than shade

and another pixel fusion! went a bit more off model with this one and in a direction thats a lil less like me. the sketch id like alot more myself but it was hard to get that energy across in pixels so it evolved into something a lil different

In the spirit of starting the year with good energy, I'd like to ring in 2023 with a few pieces I'm rather proud of from 2022. I know I still have a long way to go, but I think I've found good direction and good teachers, and I'm excited to see what lies ahead.

I think I did what I set out to do in the beginning of the year, which was draw /more/ in a piece. Commissions really helped with that, I feel. I think my shading improved, and by the end of it I think I know what direction I wanna go with my linework. <:3 I love my commissioners

May had a lot of variance. I had a good bit of comm's come in this month which was nice, but I did have a bit of a struggle trying to figure out what direction I wanted to aim for style-wise. Nothing new really, but I feel I hit this month a good bit.

I got my surgery and my 2 first conventions ever ! 🎉🎊
